“Cotignac”

Cotignac is one of the most idyllic and charming villages of Provence. The village lies in the county was approximately 90 minutes drive west of Nice. Approximately 1 hour drive to the blue Mediterranean sea, 20 minutes to famous cities like Lorgues and city Salerne which is world famous for its wonderful tiles. It is also only 35 minutes drive to Provence’s Grand Canyon called Verdon – here is a lovely lake and with the possibility of a refreshing bath.

Cotignac has only a few thousand permanent residents in the winter, but 3 doubles in the summer months – like many other villages in this area are doing.

The village has all the French villages should have, namely: many water fountains, 3 good bakers, 1 butcher, 4-5 bars, 5-6 restaurants of varying quality and price, various small shops where you can buy all kinds goods and obviously their own Vinkooperativ (incidentally very good wine and widely known for its campagne to kr. 30.-)

The village also has two Catholic churches – their own monastery and a plethora of exciting and hiking trails for those who want this. Individual maps of this is found in the house. Short distance to the nearest golf course for those who like it.

Every Tuesday is market day in the village – where you can buy all kinds of local products such as spices, cheeses, olive oils, Provencal fabrics and plenty of fruits and vegetables. Are you / you more information then click through the following URL:
